Shoolini Univ, HPU sign MoU for research

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Shoolini University and Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla, for HP University Institute of Legal Studies, Ava Lodge Campus (HPUILS), to encourage the exchange of academic information, materials, and research.

The MoU was signed by Prof Atul Khosla, Vice Chancellor Shoolini University and Prof Sikander Kumar, Vice Chancellor Himachal Pradesh University today.

Prof Khosla said he is very excited about this new partnership and will foster the exchange of academic publication and scholarly information. He further said that the agreement will also enhance the joint research programmes like seminars, conferences and workshops.

Both the institutions agree to promote the exchange of academic information and materials and to encourage visits by faculty from both the institutions for academic engagements also allow students of BALLB, LLM, and PhD on reciprocal the basis for a limited period of time for library consultation, guidance from faculty members and research.

While signing the MoU, Prof Sikander Kumar said this will be a great opportunity for the students to explore the area of research and other academic engagements. He further stated that the research and educational processes at both the institutions will be enhanced with the mutual understanding between faculty, scholars and students by the establishment of exchange Programmes.

Other dignitaries present in the MoU was Prof Sanjay Sindhu Director, UILS, Ava Lodge Campus, HPU, University, Dr. Gitanjali Thapar Assistant Professor, Ms. Ritika Rana Assistant Professor from UILS and Prof Nandan Sharma Head, School of Law Shoolini, Dr. Renu Pal Sood Associate Professor along with Ms. Swati Soni Assistant Professor.

Prof Nandan Sharma, Head, School of Law Shoolini University said, this agreement will give the students an opportunity to explore the areas of research in government university as well. He further said this collaboration will lead to great success.
