ASCI Chief Executive Officer Ms Manisha Kapoor said the mission of the organisation was to enable all stakeholders to have a better understanding of their rights, roles and responsibilities when it comes to advertising. She said ASCI looks into complaints across the media such as Print, TV, Radio, hoardings, SMS, Emailers, Internet/web-site, product packaging, brochures, promotional material and point of sale material etc. ASCI’s role has been acclaimed by various Government bodies.
The ASCI Academy Programme will bring together comprehensive services related to education and research. We have already piloted and launched a few such initiatives which have seen a tremendous response.

Ms Namrata Bachani ASCI Academy Director said the Council was “delighted to onboard Shoolini University as a part of this future-facing initiative. The important task of getting the next generation of advertisers and marketers to deeply understand the area of advertising responsibility is critical. This collaboration can push the needle on responsible advertising for generations to come. Education institutes enjoy close ties with students and faculty and can drive engagement through projects, training, and internships.
