Shoolini Univ and IPB sign MOU to nurture banking talent

In a significant development for academic and professional education, Shoolini University, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institute of Professional Banking (IPB). The partnership is aimed at launching an MBA programme in Banking and Financial Services at Shoolini University.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Ashish Khosla, President of Innovation and Marketing and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Shoolini University, and by Mr. Gursimran Singh Oberoi from IPB.
Sumeet Kaur, Reepika Arora, Manjula, and Abhay Garg were also present from IPB. The event symbolised a shared commitment towards fostering academic excellence and professional readiness among students.
Mr. Ashish Khosla, President of Innovation and Marketing and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Shoolini University, says careers in banking and finance are much sought after, and we plan to equip students at Shoolini through online and distance education to get the relevant skills for successful placement and roles in this area. We aim to be the most preferred university for skilling banks, NBFCs, and fintech companies. Mr. Khosla further stated that through this association with IPB, we will strive to provide relevant practical skills and internship opportunities to students starting from day one of their MBA course, thus enabling their employability. I have had the opportunity to be a senior banker at leading multinational banks in different parts of the world and want to help open the door for Shoolini University’s online MBA students in the exciting world of banking and finance.
