Shimla Winter Carnival to Celebrate Culture and Festivity
1 min readShimla Nov 26: Shimla Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap chaired a meeting with officials to review preparations for the Shimla Winter Carnival, scheduled from December 24. The carnival promises to showcase the rich cultural heritage of all 12 districts of Himachal Pradesh, with daily cultural performances dedicated to each district.
Artists from other states, facilitated by NZCC Patiala, will also participate, adding to the entertainment. The carnival, coinciding with the Christmas holiday season, aims to attract thousands of tourists. Shimla city will be adorned with vibrant lights, and traditional bands will welcome visitors at key entry points.
The administration will collaborate with the Hotel Association to ensure quality hospitality and cultural experiences for tourists. Additionally, the Road Safety Cell will use the event to promote road safety awareness.
Key officials, including Additional Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Verma and ADM (Law & Order) Ajit Bhardwaj, attended the meeting.
