Shimla Viral Video: Helmets Worn in Controversial Incident

Shimla, September 25: A video from Lakkar Bazaar in the capital city has rapidly gone viral on social media. In the video, a boy wearing a helmet can be seen pulling a girl rather forcefully.
The viral video dates back to the early morning of September 24, around 5:00 AM. The boy and the girl are friends. On the night of September 23, they had a party with friends at a pub. The girl had consumed a considerable amount of alcohol. When they both reached Lakkar Bazaar from the pub, an argument broke out over something. During this altercation, the girl refused to go home.
As per information obtained from the Lakkar Bazaar Police Station, the video was captured during this incident. The boy was urging the girl to go home, but she resisted. The girl sustained minor injuries during the tussle. The police promptly reached the scene upon receiving information about the incident and brought both of them to the police station. The girl explained that they are good friends but had an argument for some reason. She has declined to lodge any complaint regarding the matter. The police took them to IGMC Hospital, where the girl received first aid.
The video was first shared on social media on the evening of September 24 and has since gone viral. After conducting an investigation, the police found that the shopkeeper, whose shop had a CCTV camera recording the entire incident, had shared the video on social media. The police took swift action by removing the video from social media platforms. However, by that time, the video had already gone viral. The police administration has appealed not to forward the video further to prevent the spread of any false message among people.
