3.5 magnitude earthquake jolt Chamba

Chamba, Oct 26 – A 3.5 magnitude earthquake jolted parts of Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday. India Meteorological Department said that the epicenter of the earthquake was located at a Latitude of 32.99 and Longitude 76.28 and five km deep in Chamba district about 250 km from the State capital Shimla. The earthquake was felt at 5 40 am on Wednesday. No loss of life and property was reported due to tremors.
