Shimla Municipal Corporation Ensures Cleanliness After Snowfall, Urges Citizen Cooperation

Despite recent heavy snowfall and stormy weather, the Shimla Municipal Corporation continued sanitation and beautification work across the city in an effective and timely manner. Special attention was given to high-footfall areas such as Mall Road and Lower Bazaar, where cleanliness drives were prioritised to ensure public convenience.

Following the snowfall, teams of the Municipal Corporation worked round the clock to remove accumulated slush, garbage, and slippery waste from roads, footpaths, and public places. This proactive effort ensured that local residents and tourists did not face inconvenience and that normal movement in the city remained smooth and safe.
