Shimla: Kargil Vijay Diwas Commemorated with Patriotic Zeal by Army Training Command

Shimla, July 25, 2025: The Army Training Command (ARTRAC) in Shimla marked the 26th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas with a grand three-day celebration from July 25 to 27. The commemorative events were inaugurated by Lt Gen Devendra Sharma, GOC-in-C, ARTRAC.

Highlights included a powerful photo and video exhibition, showcasing tales of bravery from the Kargil War, and patriotic music performances at the Gaiety Theatre that stirred national pride. Emotional video presentations on Operation Vijay and Operation Sindoor offered deep insights into the soldiers’ sacrifices.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from veterans, students, NCC cadets, and citizens. A special felicitation ceremony honoured Kargil War veterans, paying tribute to their courage and legacy.

The celebrations served as a heartfelt reminder of the Indian Army’s valour in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty.
