Shimla DC Reviews Farmer Producer Companies to Boost Income of Horticulturists

Shimla, 9 January 2025: Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap chaired a district monitoring committee meeting to review the work of 34 Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) established under NABARD and other agencies. He emphasized creating a unified brand for horticulturists to enhance market reach and urged FPCs to continue training farmers for quality produce. A credit potential plan book for 2025-26 was also released during the meeting.
