Shiitake Mushroom Training Empowers 19 Farmers in Palampur

A six-day training programme on Shiitake mushroom cultivation and post-harvest management concluded at the Shiitake Mushroom Training Centre in Palampur. Supported by JICA under the Crop Diversification Promotion Project (Phase II), the workshop trained 19 farmers from Dehra block on scientific methods of production, grading, storage, and marketing. Experts urged farmers to adopt commercial mushroom farming to boost income.
