Shifting Markets Will Ease Traffic: Deputy Commissioner

A meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap was held in Shimla regarding the relocation of vegetable, grain, timber, and motor markets outside the city to address traffic issues. The administration is actively seeking land, especially near Shoghi, for the new vegetable market. The goal is to reduce traffic congestion on Cart Road and improve the city’s traffic flow. Within 15 days, land records will be prepared for potential locations, and the relocation process will commence.
