Sewer Waste Disposal Halts Ser Bhaloni Drinking Water Scheme

Hamirpur, 19 November: The Ser Bhaloni Dhane-2 lift drinking water scheme has been temporarily shut down by the Jal Shakti Department after an unknown individual reportedly dumped septic tank waste near the water source. The assistant engineer of the Hamirpur subdivision of the department stated that the contamination posed a risk of polluting the water source. As a precautionary measure, the scheme has been halted, and the department has urged residents of the affected villages to cooperate.
