Several Houses Damaged in Bhoranj, SDM Provides Immediate Relief

Bhoranj, September 2, 2025 – Continuous rainfall has caused extensive damage to public and private property in Bhoranj subdivision, leaving several houses partially or fully damaged. SDM Shashipal Sharma personally visited the affected sites and provided immediate relief assistance. He handed over ₹5,000 along with blankets, tarpaulins, and a hygiene kit to Kesari Devi of Paplah village, whose two-storey mud house became uninhabitable after a wall collapse. A temporary relief camp has been set up for the family at Government Primary School, Kot Rasweda.

Similarly, Jagdish Chand and Geeta Devi of Kot Langsa, and Sanehru Devi of Kathyavi village in Kadohta Panchayat, were also provided ₹5,000 each as emergency aid after their house walls collapsed. The SDM assured that all disaster-affected families would receive maximum support from the administration.
