Seven-Day NSS Special Camp Concludes at Government Senior Secondary School, Ladarour

The National Service Scheme (NSS) special camp, spanning seven days, concluded on Friday at Government Senior Secondary School, Ladarour, under the Bhoranj sub-division. Initiated on December 8th, the camp witnessed active participation from students and faculty, fostering a sense of social responsibility.

The event’s chief guest, Mr. Atul Kadahota, State Coordinator of Himachal Pradesh Skill Development Corporation, commended the school’s ongoing efforts in the field of education. He highlighted the significance of education in shaping individuals into responsible citizens.

The school principal, Rajkumari NSS, Women Incharge Vandan Chhopra, and speaker Manjula Bharti welcomed the chief guest, emphasizing the importance of NSS activities in instilling a sense of community service among students.

Mr. Kadahota addressed the NSS volunteers, stressing the dual role of education in acquiring knowledge and cultivating good values. He praised the NSS camp for encouraging students to engage in social service and develop a sense of empathy.

The NSS volunteers showcased commendable dedication in various social service activities during the camp. Ayush Shandil, a volunteer, presented an overview of the volunteers’ achievements over the past year, highlighting the positive impact of their community service initiatives.

The concluding ceremony featured cultural programs by the NSS volunteers, showcasing the rich heritage and traditions. Mr. Achyutam Verma, NSS Incharge, Sudarshan Joginder Singh, spokesperson, and language teacher Arun Patial honored Mr. Atul Kadahota during the closing ceremony.

The NSS camp not only promoted community service but also served as a platform for cultural exchange and collaboration. The participating students and faculty expressed their gratitude for the meaningful experience gained during the seven-day camp.
