Session on Saadat Hasan Manto held

Belletristic the Literary Society of the Department of English, Shoolini University, organised a virtual conversation on Saadat Hasan Manto, initiated by the invited speaker Prof Anil Kumar Prasad.
The discussion panel consisted of faculty members, Manju Jaidka, HOD of the English department, Shoolini University, Tej Nath Dhar, Purnima Bali, Neeraj Pizar, Sakshi Sundaram, Rajesh Williams, Navreet Sahi, Hemant Sharma, and Samrat Sharma.
Prof. Anil Kumar Prasad, who earlier taught at the Department of English Ibb University, Yemen, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, KSA, and in the department of English, College of Arts and Science, Zlitan Al Mergeb University, AI- Khum’s, Libya, initiated the discussion. He began the session by referring to the stories connected with Manto, a writer and playwright whose collection of work includes 22 short stories, a novel, five series of radio plays, three collections of essays, and two collections of personal sketches.
Among the attendees who participated in the discussion was Dr Abdu Rehman from Saudi Arabia who commented at length on the presentation.
