Section 163 of Indian Civil Defense Code to Be Enforced in Sanjauli on 11th September: District Magistrate

Shimla, 10 September 2024: To maintain law and order, District Magistrate Anupam Kashyap has announced the enforcement of Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code 2023 in Sanjauli on 11th September from 7 AM to 11:59 PM. Public life will continue smoothly, but gatherings of five or more people are prohibited, and the carrying of weapons such as firearms, sticks, swords, and flammable substances will be strictly banned.

Schools, colleges, offices, and markets will remain open as usual. Public protests, slogans, and loudspeakers near public spaces, hospitals, and courts will also be restricted. These measures are being implemented to ensure peace in the region.
