School Road to be Paved Before Holidays End: Anupam Kashyap

Annual Management Committee Meeting of JNV Theog Held, chaired by DC
Shimla, Dec 20, 2024: An annual meeting of the management committee of PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Theog was held today, chaired by Shimla Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap. The Deputy Commissioner confirmed that funds have been allocated to pave the road from the national highway to the school before the holidays end, ensuring smooth access for parents and others visiting the school.
Kashyap also proposed the installation of a solar water heating system in the school hostel and the provision for an RO system in the academic block to ensure proper drinking water for students. Additionally, solar floodlights will be installed in sensitive areas of the school.
The Deputy Commissioner honored the school management committee with a certificate of appreciation for its effective functioning and inclusive development. The school principal, Sangeeta Shaunik, presented an overview of the school’s academic, sports, cultural, and other activities. Approximately 523 students are enrolled at the school, participating in various activities throughout the year.
The management committee expressed its gratitude to the district administration and honored the Deputy Commissioner with a memento. The meeting was attended by Deputy Director of Education Department, Lekh Raj Bhardwaj, and other members of the committee.
