School of Physiotherapy Hosts Successful Sports Taping Workshop Led by PGI Chandigarh Expert

Mandi, Oct 28 : The School of Physiotherapy achieved a significant milestone by organizing a two-day hands-on workshop focused on “Sports Taping” for the management of soft tissue injuries in the upper and lower limbs, as well as cervical and lumbar spine conditions. Dr. Upender Goswami, Senior Physiotherapist from PGI Chandigarh, boasting 27 years of invaluable experience, served as the distinguished resource person for this enlightening event.
During the workshop, students actively engaged in case discussions and learned about the practical management of injuries. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Director of Student Welfare (DSW), and Dean of Health Sciences. Honorable Vice Chancellor took the opportunity to motivate and enlighten the students about the pivotal role of physiotherapy in everyday life.
This two-day workshop culminated successfully, thanks to the blessings and support of the Honorable Chancellor, Pro Chancellor, Vice-Chairperson of AES, Mrs. Narbda, and the Finance Officer of AES. The event served as a platform for students to acquire valuable insights and practical skills under the guidance of a seasoned expert in the field.
