Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwaar” to be Held in Nanhaar on May 30

The “Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwaar” programme under the Chopal Assembly constituency will be held in Nanhaar Panchayat on May 30, 2025. The event will be chaired by Education Minister Rohit Thakur.
In preparation for the programme, Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap chaired a high-level meeting to ensure smooth execution. During the meeting, the SDM Chopal was directed to finalize the venue within two days. Department heads were instructed to ensure mandatory presence at the event, with strict action to be taken against non-compliance.
The DC emphasized the need for all departments to raise awareness about government schemes in the days leading up to the event and to present the current implementation status during the programme. Additionally, a Civil Defence and Disaster Awareness Camp will be organized prior to the event.
The programme will feature departmental exhibitions, self-help group stalls, a medical camp, and for the first time, outstanding students from local schools will be felicitated to encourage academic excellence.
A Medical Board will also be set up at Chopal Hospital to provide disability certification locally, eliminating the need for travel to Shimla. Furthermore, public grievances collected during the event will be uploaded to the CM Seva Sankalp 1100 portal to ensure timely tracking and resolution within seven days.
The DC also directed the Transport Department to conduct a road safety awareness campaign in Nanhaar and Jheena Panchayats, targeting schools, institutions, and village communities.
