Sanjay Awasthi Awards Young Athletes in Arki Constituency
2 min readAugust 13, Arki: Chief Parliamentary Secretary (Public Works, Health and Family Welfare, and Information & Public Relations) Sanjay Awasthi honored the winners of the under-14 zonal and block-level sports competitions held at Ishwaramma Public Senior Secondary School, Darlaghat, and Government Senior Secondary School, Ghanagughat.
In the Private School Upper Zone under-14 sports competition, 305 students from 23 schools participated, while the Dhundhan Zone competition at Ghanagughat saw participation from 216 students across 18 schools.
Key results from the competitions include:

– Kabaddi: S.V.N. Shaktighat – Winner, V.V.N. Sadhupul – Runner-up

– Badminton: B.L.C.P. Kunihar – Winner, M.E.P.S. Dhillo Sultanpur – Runner-up

Sanjay Awasthi extended his best wishes to all the participants, expressing hope that the winners, runners-up, and all other athletes will continue to strive for greater heights in the future.
He also highlighted the ongoing development projects in the Ghanagughat area, including the construction of a Primary Health Center at a cost of approximately ₹196 crore, a ₹9.49 crore expenditure on the Karada-Bawa Road, and various other projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure in the region.
