Sambla Tragedy: Nitesh’s Heartbreaking Search for His Missing Family Continues

Nitesh’s life in Sambla has taken a tragic turn due to the whims of fate. From August 14th to September 2nd, Saturday evening, Nitesh has been unable to find any trace of his wife, daughter, and sister’s bodies following the Sambla tragedy caused by heavy rains.

Now, he is also deprived of conducting their last rites. The administration has initiated a search operation using machines. Administrative officials and SDRF personnel are present at the scene. However, even after nearly 20 days, their bodies have not been found.

Although machines have reached Nitesh’s home, and some belongings have been recovered there, the missing bodies remain unaccounted for. Meanwhile, Nitesh’s mother has undergone several surgeries and is still receiving treatment at Nerchowk Medical College.

The ordeal for Nitesh continues as he visits Sambla from the hospital every morning at 10 AM and stays at the hospital after the search operation ends. The passage of time has been incredibly challenging for him, evoking empathy from everyone who hears of his situation.
