Rural Development Key to Economic Strength: Sanjay Awasthi

Solan, February 25, 2026: Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi said that strengthening rural areas is essential for Himachal Pradesh’s economic growth while addressing a ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ outreach programme at Pansoda village in Sanyadi Mod panchayat. He highlighted government initiatives aimed at boosting agriculture, horticulture, dairy production, and improving road connectivity at the grassroots level. Awasthi noted that the hike in minimum support price for milk has significantly benefited dairy farmers, especially women, and further increases may be considered in the upcoming budget. He also announced multiple development works, including funding for roads, water supply projects, community infrastructure, and support for local women and youth groups, while directing officials to resolve public grievances on priority.
