Ruckus continues by BJP in HP assembly
2 min readShimla, Mar 16 – Himachal Pradesh Assembly is in 18 days budget session currently continuing facing the walkout and ruckus by the members of opposition benches protesting and shouting slogans inside and outside the house for the third day of session.
The deadlock between the ruling and the opposition continued on the third day of the budget session as Opposition members also push up issue of denotification of institution under rule 67 today again. Earlier to this members protested outside the assembly carrying chains and locks with them to protest against the closure of institutions. The opposition also successfully fixed the agenda of the house yesterday as the entire business was suspended under Rule 67.
As soon as they reached the house on Thursday, the opposition members started raising slogans even before the start of the question hour. Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania started the Question Hour amidst sloganeering on this. He said being in the opposition, it is his responsibility to raise issues related to public interest in the House. Jai Ram Thakur said Wednesday they debated on the issue under rule 67 , but the chief minister’s answer was evasive, he had neither logic nor facts. The entire opposition walked out of house as the speaker did not allow them to speak on the issue more. Later the house conducted the question hours in the absence of BJP members.
