RSETI training empowers Women Enterpreneur

24 women received training in creative jewellery making at the institute

Hamirpur, September 18. A 14-day training camp for women at the Punjab National Bank Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSET) in Mattan Sidh concluded on Thursday. Twenty-four women received training in creative jewelry making.
Punjab National Bank’s Chief Manager Rahul Lakhanpuria was present as the chief guest on the closing ceremony of the camp. Addressing the participating women on this occasion, Rahul Lakhanpuria said that after receiving training from ITI, women can earn good income from home by setting up their own enterprise or business. For this, banks can also give them loans at concessional rates. Women should take advantage of various concessional schemes of banks. The Chief Manager also informed the women about PM Health Insurance Scheme, PM Jeevan Jyoti Insurance Scheme, Atal Pension Scheme, Kisan Credit Card, PPF and other schemes.
Earlier, ARSET Director Ajay Katana welcomed the chief guest, other guests, and the participating women and explained the institute’s various activities and achievements. He explained that all facilities, including accommodation and food, are provided free of charge to participants in the camps organized by the institute.
Camp evaluators Rajkumar Dogra and Kamna Devi, trainer Seema Devi, faculty member Sanjay Harnot and other officials were also present on the occasion.
