Urban Health & Wellness Center Inaugurated in Arki
Arki, 13 January 2025: Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi inaugurated an Urban Health & Wellness Center in Ward No. 07, which will benefit around 4,000 people with improved health services. Speaking at the event, Awasthi emphasized the government’s focus on enhancing health infrastructure, including ₹1 crore allocated per center for equipment in 69 model health institutions.
He announced that the state government is spending ₹3415 crore this year on the health sector and aims to establish integrated public health laboratories in each district by 2026. Awasthi assured the provision of advanced facilities like ultra-labs in Arki and urged transparency in utilizing funds from the Rogi Kalyan Samiti.
Earlier, he inspected Arki Civil Hospital, reviewed patient facilities, and approved a budget of ₹77.67 lakh for Arki Hospital and ₹31.50 lakh for Kunihar Hospital.
