Rotaract Club Inauguration Ceremony “Prarambh” Successfully Held at HPNLU Shimla
1 min readThe much-anticipated inauguration ceremony of the Rotaract Club at Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, named “Prarambh,” marked the beginning of a new chapter for the club. The event, held at HPNLU Shimla, was graced by prominent guests, including the special guest and president of Rotary Shimla Midtown, Rotarian Ravi Kant Jain, who presided over the ceremony. The chief guest was Professor Dr. Preeti Saxena, Vice-Chancellor of HPNLU Shimla. Dean of Academic Affairs Dr. Santosh Kumar Sharma and Club Coordinator Dr. Hari Chand were also present to support the event.
During the ceremony, the newly appointed leadership team of the Rotaract Club was formally sworn in. Rotarian Ritik Jinata took charge as the new president, while Rotarian Sonia Singh Rana assumed the role of secretary, along with other team members. The achievements of the previous team were appreciated, and the new team expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming term.
Rotarian Ravi Kant Jain emphasized the importance of community service and shared insights into the impact of Rotaract on society. Dr. Sharma highlighted the significance of student-driven initiatives and motivated the members to strive for excellence in their efforts.
The ceremony concluded on a positive note, with the newly formed team pledging to undertake various community service projects and activities in line with Rotaract’s mission, “Fellowship Through Service.” The event set a motivating tone for the coming year, symbolizing a new journey of service and leadership for the Rotaract Club at HPNLU Shimla.
