Aurangabad/Mohania, Bihar | November 6, 2025:

Former Union Minister and five-time MP from Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, Anurag Singh Thakur targeted the RJD during BJP rallies in Aurangabad and Mohania while campaigning for NDA candidates in the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025.

He accused the RJD of wanting to bring Bihar back from “good governance to jungle raj” and appealed to voters to ensure a massive victory for NDA candidates to continue the era of development and safety in the state.

Thakur stated that when NDA came to power in 2005 under CM Nitish Kumar, it restored rule of law and crushed criminal elements flourishing under the RJD regime. He alleged that during RJD governance, criminals were protected by the Chief Minister’s office and industries were shut under threats.

Highlighting lawlessness under RJD rule, he said women suffered the most due to poor roads, lack of bridges, electricity, and insecurity. He urged voters to protect Bihar from going back to the “dark lantern era.”

Taking on corruption charges, Thakur accused RJD of exploiting youth, referencing the land-for-jobs scam linked to Lalu Prasad Yadav. He claimed RJD pushed Bihar back by decades and never apologized for the damage caused.
