RIWAAS is a step towards guiding youth away from drugs: RS Bali

A two-day cultural and social awareness event “RIWAAS” at Gaiety Theatre, Shimla was inaugurated by the Chairman Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation R.S. Bali. He appreciated the initiative taken to engage youth through cultural platforms. He emphasized that RIWAAS is a step towards guiding youth away from drugs and reconnecting them with their cultural roots.

On this occasion State President Mohit Thakur and General Secretary of Youth Enlightenment Society, Himachal Pradesh also shared their views.

On the first day of the event, the Traditional Group Natti Competition was organized, in which around 10 teams from different parts of Himachal Pradesh participated, showcasing vibrant Himachali folk dances, traditional attire and rhythmic coordination.

The cultural evening also featured numerous solo and duo performances by students from various regions of Himachal Pradesh, adding enthusiasm and colour to the event.

Mayor of Shimla Municipal Corporation Surender Chauhan along with Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
