Retired revenue officers are invited to apply for 14 posts

Dharamshala, April 2 : The Settlement Officer, Kangra Division, Dharamshala, announced today that applications have been invited for the re-employment of retired revenue officers. These appointments will be made on a temporary basis to fill the vacant positions of Naib Tehsildar and Patwari.
He informed that re-employment will be done for eight Naib Tehsildar and six Patwari posts. Selected candidates will be paid a monthly honorarium of ₹60,000 and ₹40,000, respectively. Applications are invited only from retired officers of the Himachal Pradesh Revenue Department who have completed a minimum of five years of service and against whom no departmental inquiry is pending. Candidates must not exceed 65 years of age. Interested candidates can submit their applications, along with the required certificates, to the Office of the Settlement Officer, Kangra Division, Dharamshala by April 9, 2026. The re-employment will initially be for a period of three months, which may be extended based on performance and needs.
He stated that this appointment will be purely temporary and may be terminated at any time. Selected candidates will also be provided with limited leave, medical facilities, and TA (Tax and Disability Allowance) as needed.
