Republic Day celebration at Shoolini University

Students and staff of Shoolini University celebrated the 73rd Republic Day with great zeal and enthusiasm through both the virtual and physical modes.
Celebrations began with the unfurling of the National Flag by Director Operations, Brigadier SD Mehta (Retd) followed by National Anthem at the open-air theatre inside the campus. Following that, Chancellor Professor PK Khosla gave a virtual address in which he expressed his resolve of making the university one of the top 200 universities in the world. Mr Vishal Anand, Pro-Chancellor, spoke about democracy and how we can strengthen it.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla took the opportunity to take pledge for a Drug-Free India. He also urged the Dean of Student Welfare office to organise an additional drug abuse campaign.
A cultural programme was also organised with performances from students and faculty members. Mrs. Poonam Nanda, Dean Students Welfare, gave a vote of thanks at the end of the event. The DSW office oversaw organising the event.
