Relief supplies reach 120 fair price shops across Kullu district under PDS

Deputy Commissioner Torul S. Ravish informed that after 155 quintals of ration were earlier airdropped by the Air Force in remote disaster-hit areas, now supplies from Civil Supplies Corporation godowns have been dispatched to 120 fair price shops across the district under the Public Distribution System. Out of 457 shops linked with seven godowns in Kullu, ration has already been supplied from Kullu, Bhuntar, Patlikuhal, Banjar, Dhaman, Ani, and Nirmand godowns. The DC assured that adequate stocks are available and arrangements are being made to deliver supplies to cut-off villages as road restoration continues.
