Rajiv Rana Rallies Support for Congress Candidate Kamlesh Thakur in Dehra

In a vigorous campaign effort, Rajiv Rana, the Chairman of the Kamgar and Employee Congress and in charge of the Dehra Assembly, conducted a door-to-door campaign and addressed a public meeting in Ward-7, Behan, rallying support for Congress candidate Kamlesh Thakur.
Rajiv Rana criticized former MLA Hoshiar Singh for betraying the trust of the people of Dehra, highlighting the unprecedented nature of an MLA resigning only to seek re-election. He accused Hoshiar Singh of prioritizing personal interests over the welfare of Dehra.
Rana praised the immense support and affection shown by the people of Dehra towards Kamlesh Thakur, predicting a decisive victory for her. He emphasized the public-friendly initiatives of the Sukhu government, such as the Old Pension Scheme, the Pyari Bahna Samman Nidhi providing ₹1500, and the ₹4500 crore disaster relief fund. Additionally, he noted plans for Dehra’s development, including the establishment of a new SP district and a multi-crore zoo project, as evidence of the Congress government’s commitment to the welfare of the common people.
Rajiv Rana stated that, unlike Hoshiar Singh, who allegedly betrayed the people of Dehra for personal gain, Kamlesh Thakur’s victory would significantly boost Dehra’s development. He also pointed out the growing dissatisfaction within the BJP ranks, with many members feeling suffocated after Hoshiar Singh’s induction into the party.
