Railway protection force starts probe into pelting of stones on the Vande Bharat train near Una

Una, Nov 20 – Railway Protection force has started an investigation into the pelting of stones on Vande Bharat Express on Saturday near Una town.
It has registered a case against unknown people. Soon after the incident, the train driver and staff informed the RPF. No passenger was hurt in the stone pelting.
According to official sources, the miscreants damaged two glasses by pelting stones on the Vande Bharat train.
The train was going from New Delhi to Amb when some children threw stones at the train.
The incident took place about two kilometers from Una railway station and there is anger among the local people due to the incident.
The informed source said that a few children of the migrants living nearby the railway track were playing there and perhaps they threw stones at the train.
However, the actual position will be known after the investigation by the RPF.
Notably, on October 13th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the country’s fourth Vande Bharat service on this route. This train started running regularly from 19th October between Andora(Una) to New Delhi.
A month after the start of the train, the case of stone pelting on the train has come to light.
RPF Inspector Sandeep Kumar said that after getting the information, he reached the spot and started the investigation.
