During a press conference held in Mandi, Singh emphasized his commitment to fostering development in the state with a positive mindset and stated that he is open to collaborating with Ranaut to benefit the people of Mandi and Himachal Pradesh.
Singh highlighted the stalled Shivdham project in Mandi, noting that the state government is prepared to resume work on it. However, he pointed out the lack of budget for the project and urged Kangana Ranaut, elected as an MP from Mandi, to secure the necessary funding from the central government.
During the press conference, Minister Singh addressed the damage to national highways caused by recent natural disasters. He noted the increased use of two key roads in the district, Kamand-Kataula and Pandoh-Chailchowk, for vehicular traffic. Singh assured that these roads would be prioritized for strengthening and repair in the near future.
In response to the growing traffic congestion in Mandi city, Singh also called on the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to open the newly constructed Mandi Tunnel, part of the Kiratpur-Manali four-lane highway, for vehicular movement to alleviate the issue.
By extending a cooperative hand to Kangana Ranaut and focusing on critical infrastructure projects, Minister Vikramaditya Singh aims to drive positive change and development across Himachal Pradesh.
