PWD Minister Felicitates 156 Meritorious Students at Sunni College

Shimla, March 1, 2025: Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh attended the annual prize distribution ceremony at Sunni College as the chief guest. He emphasized the importance of quality education and acknowledged the college’s achievements, ranking third in the state.

Singh announced infrastructural developments, including boundary wall construction, staff quarters, and a video projector for official use. He highlighted that ₹350 crore has been allocated for various developmental projects in the Shimla Rural constituency, including ₹25 crore for a drinking water scheme in Sunni town.

The event was attended by college principal Anjali Chauhan, retired principal Dr. Ram Lal Sharma, BDO Basantpur Sparsh Sharma, and several dignitaries from local governance and educational institutions.
