Public Works Minister Inaugurates Free Medical Camp in Banuti

Shimla, November 20, 2024– Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh inaugurated a free medical camp organized by the AYUSH Department under the National AYUSH Mission in Banuti, Gram Panchayat Dudhalti, Shimla Rural Assembly Constituency. The camp provided health checkups and free medicines to around 250 people.

The minister emphasized the need for such camps, especially for elderly citizens, mothers, and the underprivileged, who often face difficulties accessing hospitals. He assured that similar free health camps would be regularly organized in remote areas of Shimla Rural to ensure healthcare services at residents’ doorsteps.

District AYUSH Officer Dr. Pawan Jareth welcomed the minister and provided an overview of the camp’s operations. Key attendees included MD Dr. Sunita Syal, Dr. Manoj, Dr. Bindu, Dr. Geeti, Dr. Kirti, pharmacists Ajay Verma and Meera, APO Anil Premta, and other health professionals.
