Pragati, a rural women entrepreneurs development programme, entered its Phase 2 with an on-ground review and interaction session held at Tikkar Village under the Salogra Panchayat.
The project is an initiative of the Centre for Leadership Coaching at Shoolini University in collaboration with the Shoolini Pehal Foundation.
The visit marked the formal commencement of Phase 2, building upon the foundation established in Phase 1, where rural women entrepreneurs (Sakhis) received training and essential machinery to initiate income-generating ventures.
During the engagement, the participants extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and presented updates on their ongoing work. The session featured a structured briefing on the roadmap for Phase 2, including future expansion plans and the support mechanisms designed to guide the Sakhis as they scale their community-owned enterprises.
Speaking about the progress, Mr Vishal Anand, Pro-Chancellor, Shoolini University, highlighted the long-term vision of the Pragati initiative.
Mr Jay Cziraky, Founder of Denesfa No-End-Co, noted that the real challenge lay in understanding the true needs and aspirations of the community. He stressed that meaningful development occurs when every resource invested aligns with the community’s actual requirements and contributes directly to their growth.
Ms Payal Jindal Khanna, Associate Director and Head of the Centre for Leadership Coaching, reaffirmed her commitment to advancing the Pragati initiative. She expressed gratitude to Mr Vishal Anand for his continued support and vision. She further highlighted that the unwavering guidance of the ICF-certified coaches (Saarthis) and student mentors (Sahyogis) had played a pivotal role in shaping the journey and progress of the women entrepreneurs. She added that the determination and dedication of the rural women remained the driving force as Pragati continued to grow and expand its impact.
