Political Row Over CM Sukhu’s Maldives Trip

Shimla, Feb 24 – Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s Maldives trip has sparked political controversy. BJP MP Anurag Thakur remarked that there is no “feel good factor” in Himachal, prompting the CM to seek relaxation abroad instead of addressing state issues.
BJP media in-charge Karan Nanda criticized the CM, alleging that while the state is struggling with debt and development is at a standstill, Sukhu is enjoying a vacation. He also accused him of misusing helicopters for weddings.
Responding to the allegations, Congress MLA Sanjay Awasthi stated that taking loans is essential and even the central government runs on debt. He urged BJP leaders to push for financial aid for Himachal instead of questioning the CM’s whereabouts.
