Police to seize two wheelers without number plates

Kangra, April 08: Two-wheelers without number plates, whether parked or being driven, will be seized by the police. Under the “Surakshit Hoon Main” campaign, the district police has started a new campaign. Under which, if a bike or scooty without a number plate is found parked anywhere, it will be confiscated. Last year also more than 80 people died in road accidents. Police is serious about the safety of citizens on the road.

The district police is making serious efforts regarding road safety. Under this campaign, first the drivers were made aware about riding two wheelers by wearing helmets and four wheelers by wearing seat belts. In order to ensure complete compliance of the traffic rules, the police made the drivers aware with the action of challaning to ensure the participation of the general public
