Police Inspect Sanjauli for Law and Order, Over 1000 Personnel Deployed

Shimla, 10 September 2024: In a late-evening inspection led by District Magistrate Anupam Kashyap, police forces patrolled Sanjauli from Sanjauli Chowk to Dhalli Tunnel to ensure law and order ahead of anticipated challenges. Residents were urged to cooperate with authorities in maintaining peace. The District Magistrate warned that strict action would be taken against lawbreakers, and no leniency would be shown to miscreants.
Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi confirmed the enforcement of Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code 2023 in the region, with over 1000 police personnel, including the Rapid Action Force, stationed across the area to ensure security.
Inspector General of Southern Range JP Singh, ADM Ajit Bhardwaj, SDM Bhanu Gupta, and other senior officials, including Additional SPs Navdeep Singh and Praveer Thakur, were also present during the inspection.
