PHC Announced at Beh Ki Dhar in Sundernagar Assembly Constituency
4 min readChief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated and laid foundation stones of developmental projects worth Rs. 52.44 crore at Jarol in Sundernagar Assembly Constituency in Mandi district today. He inaugurated Rs. 1.25 crore Sale Centre of HPMC, Jarol and Rs. 11.83 crore Lift Water Supply Scheme (LWSS) to NC/PC habitation in GP Churad, Chamukha, Baila, Tihri, Baroti, Jambla etc.
He laid foundation stones of Rs. 2.12 crore for providing Functional House Tap Connection (FHTC) to balance households of 10 gram panchayats under Jal Shakti Sub Division Sundernagar, Rs. 78 lakh improvement of distribution system for Water Supply Scheme (WSS) Talhi in Gram Panchayat Bobar and Jarol in tehsil Sundernagar and Rs. 36.59 crore augmentation of WSS Lunda, WSS Samoun, LWSS Jandroun Beh Ki Dhar, WSS Thalagdhar in tehsil Sundernagar.
While addressing the people at Jarol, Chief Minister said that HPMC earned a profit of Rs 3 crore last year after a long span of 46 years. He said that in order to provide relief to the horticulturists, the State Government recently increased the support price of apple, mango and citrus fruits under the Market intervention scheme by Rs. 1 per kg.
Chief Minister said that the Sundernagar Vidhan Sabha was rapidly forging ahead on the path of progress and prosperity. He said that the credit of this goes to the able, young and energetic leadership of local MLA Rakesh Jamwal. He said that despite adverse situation in the state and country due to the corona pandemic, the state government ensured that the developmental work goes uninterruptedly. He said that the state also lost four leaders during the last six months. He said that this was not only a big loss to the State, but the State was forced to hold by -elections to three state assembly seats and one Lok Sabha seat. He urged the people to give their wholehearted support to the State Government to ensure that the pace of development goes uninterrupted.
Jai Ram Thakur announced Junior Engineer section of Jal Shakti at Churad and HPSEB Junior Engineer Section at Pungnu, upgradation of Primary School Nalini to Middle School, opening of PHC at Beh Ki Dhar and Rs 10 lakh for construction of playground at gram panchayat Jarol.
Later, while addressing the public meeting at Dehar in Sundernagar area after inaugurating and laying foundation stones of developmental projects worth Rs. 126.05 crore announced opening of Jal Shakti Sub Division at Kangu, upgradation of CHC Dehar to 50 bedded hospital, Atal Adarsh Vidhalaya at Taleli, upgradation of Primary School Majhas to Middle School, Veterinary Dispensary Taleli to Veterinary Hospital, construction of parking at Dehar, starting of Science classes at Senior Secondary School Serikhoti, Patwar Circle at Gram Panchayat Batwara, permanent police post at Dehar and providing 108 ambulance service to the people of Dehar area.
Jai Ram Thakur said that during his five day tour to five Vidhan Sabha constituencies of the State, he has inaugurated and laid foundation stones of developmental projects worth about Rs. 880 crore. He said that the previous Congress Government misled the people of the State by going on foundation stones laying spree at the fag-end of their five years tenure. He said that these foundation stones were laid without any budget provisions. He said that the BJP has won all the elections held in the State during last three and half years which shows the support and benevolence of the people of the State towards the present State Government. He said that the steps taken by the State Government in covid-19 management has been appreciated by the Centre Government as well as other States of the country.
Earlier, Chief Minister inaugurated projects of Rs. 33.57 crore at Dehar which include Rs. 2.88 crore Community Health Centre building at Dehar, Rs. 11.06 crore metalling and tarring of Slapper-Seri Kothi road, Rs. 12.24 crore upgradation of Kangu-Manjhkheter road, Rs. 1.58 crore metalling and tarring of link road to Dhawal and Rs. 5.81 crore remodelling of WSS Seogi Satrahan in Gram Panchayat Slapper and Bobar in tehsil Sundernagar.
Jai Ram Thakur performed foundation stones laying ceremonies of developmental projects of Rs. 92.48 crore at Dehar including Rs. 4.18 crore Government Senior Secondary School, Taleli, Rs. 1.12 crore 19.75 meter span bridge at Bhantrehad, Rs. 16.76 crore improvement and widening of Slapper-Tattapani road, Rs. 15.87 crore LWSS to Dehar and adjoining area in tehsil Sundernagar, Rs. 84 lakh providing FHTC to balance household in GP Seri Kothi and Batwara in tehsil Sundernagar, Rs. 57 lakh improvement of LWSS Bhantrehar in GP Baroti in tehsil Sundernagar, Rs. 56 lakh CAD works for LIS Bhantrehar, Rs. 58 lakh CAD works for LIS Dehvi in GP Kangoo of Tehsil Sundernagar and Rs. 52 crore augmentation of existing 220/130 KV Sub Station Kangoo and stringing of 2nd circuit of 220 KV Single Circuit line from Dehar Power House of BBMB to Kangoo Sub Station.
Chief Minister was honoured by various social, political and cultural organisations on the occasion.
MLA Sundernagar Rakesh Jamwal, while welcoming the Chief Minister, thanked him for dedicating and laying foundation stones of developmental projects about Rs 300 crore during his one and a half day tour to Sundernagar Vidhan Sabha area. He said that Rs. 15.87 crore LWSS to Dehar and adjoining area in tehsil Sundernagar on completion would solve the long pending demand of the people of the area. He also apprised the Chief Minister about various developmental demands of the area.
Chairman HPMC Ram Singh thanked the Chief Minister for dedicating the Sale Counter at Jarol. He said that this would help HPMC in increasing the sale of its product. He said that HPMC aims to produce one lakh juice bottles this year. He said that HPMC was executing projects worth Rs. 266.14 crore in different parts of the State to provide better marketing facilities to the fruit growers. He said that work on most of these projects would be completed within a year.
