Pharma lifts Shoolini University’s Manchtantra trophy

Manchtantra, Shoolini University’s annual interdepartmental competition, was won by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, with the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Ancient Wisdom, and Legal Sciences finishing second. The four-day-long interdepartmental competition concluded on Sunday/
Manchtantra, a term that signifies a stage for departments to exhibit their diverse talents, featured a thrilling range of activities, including a flashmob, group dance, folk dance, duet song, and many more.
Well-known judges presided over the events, ensuring fair competition. For the flash mob, the panel included Mrs. Taruna Mehta and Mr. Arvind Nanda.
The main events, which took place from October 5 to 7, showcased the diverse talents of various departments under the overarching theme of Bharat. Two departments took the stage each day, leaving the audience awestruck with performances spanning dance, singing, stand-up comedy, fashion shows, anchoring, and more.
The judges for the main event were a star-studded lineup, featuring Abha, the fashion icon of 2022, Kuldeep Chandel, a PhD holder in music and a participant in Sa Re Ga Ma Little Champs’ top 30, Kuwar Thakur, a music producer and the best drummer in North India in 2013, Ashvin Pravan Triveni, a DID dancer with a dance academy named Kala Sangam, and Mrs. Ashoo Khosla, the Chief Learning Officer at Shoolini University.
The spirited competition saw participation from all university departments, including the Faculty of Agriculture and Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Ancient Wisdom and Legal Sciences, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Applied Sciences and Biotech, and Faculty of Management Sciences. Each department showcased distinct themes and performances.
In the grand finale, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences emerged as the winners for their remarkable talent and dedication. The Faculty of Liberal Arts, Ancient Wisdom, and Legal Sciences secured the runner-up position.
Dean Student Welfare, Mrs. Poonam Nanda, said, “Every year Manchtantra raises the standard for the next one, students and faculties  are keen on winning and performing their best.”
Manchtantra was organised by the team of the Dean of Student Welfare at Shoolini University, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable experience for all participants.
