1 min read

Dehra/Dharamshala: BJP Dehra District President Sanjeev Sharma has stated that the people of Himachal Pradesh have completely rejected Congress and given overwhelming support to the BJP. This signifies a rejection of the Sukhu government. Due to the government’s failures, people have voted against Congress, with the BJP gaining a significant lead in 61 out of 68 seats. Most ministers and CPS in the state trailed in their constituencies, with the Chief Minister’s own seat also witnessing a defeat for Congress. Sharma expressed gratitude to the people for their support to the BJP. He mentioned that the BJP’s seats have significantly increased in both the Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections. The BJP won one seat in the Lok Sabha and two seats in the Assembly from Congress, bringing their Assembly total to 27, with expectations for further increase. Sharma assured that BJP will win the Dehra Assembly constituency seat with a huge majority, highlighting BJP candidate Hoshiar Singh’s popularity and simplicity.

Sharma raised concerns over the deteriorating law and order situation in the state, citing several recent heinous crimes, including the murder of an IB ASI in Chamba. He called on the government to address these issues seriously, emphasizing that such incidents have no place in Devbhoomi (Land of the Gods). He urged the Chief Minister to ensure the safety and security of the people, stressing that their lives cannot be left at the mercy of fate.
