People of Dehra Are My Strength: Hoshiar Singh

2 min read

Dehra/Dharamshala:

BJP candidate from Dehra Assembly constituency, Hoshiar Singh, has intensified his election campaign. Singh stated that as the by-election day approaches in Himachal, it has become evident that BJP will achieve historic victories in all three Assembly seats, causing distress for Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, who claims to lead a successful government. Sukhu, realizing his diminishing political stature, has resorted to making irrational statements out of frustration. Despite considering himself a significant political player, the Chief Minister has realized that he knows little beyond student politics. Singh criticized the 16-month-old government as ineffective and unstable, accusing it of making empty promises.

Singh emphasized that the people of Dehra are his strength and serving them is his sole objective. He pointed out that Sukhu has failed to fulfill promises such as providing ₹1500 monthly to every woman, ₹2 per kilo for cow dung, and 300 units of free electricity. Instead, Sukhu disgraced his position by deploying over 200 police officers to raid BJP candidate Sudhir Sharma’s house at midnight and conducting raids on BJP workers’ shops. Singh warned employees about the Congress’s deceptive OPS promises, revealing that the government plans to reduce the retirement pension from 50% to 30% of the salary, which will be approved in the first Cabinet meeting post-elections. This move, according to Singh, shows Congress’s ill intentions towards employees.

He concluded by stating that the people of Himachal have decided to support BJP in all three by-election seats and show the Sukhu government its true place, ultimately bringing BJP back to power in the state.
