Parents’ Day Celebrated At Seplings Play School

1 min read

Shimla, July 09 – Seplings Play School Shimla commemorated the 17th version of their Parents’ Day celebrations today.
The kids put forth a wide array of performances for their parents, starting with the Shiv Stuti and the depiction of the Lord Ganesha paying obeisance to Lord Shiv and Goddess Parvati.

This was followed by a cute dance by the little baby dolls of the school on the theme of Barbie, interspersed with fun stories from everyday life at school and frolics for even the parents to indulge in.

The school principal Smt. Kusum Kuthiala shared gems of wisdom from her 35 year long teaching career with the parents of the participating toddlers, whilst also exclaiming how the world has moved on to an agile unidirectional growth model for children and the ill effects associated with this approach wherein children grow little beyond their academics, and their health and personality development suffers. She stressed on the importance of a multi-dimensional growth of children and the need for their association with their own culture, especially in the early years of their growth.

The show culminated with a celebratory dance by all the kids on ‘Masti ki Paathshaala’ and thereafter closed with kids presenting a handicraft piece with a message of love and admiration to their parents.
