Paragliding To Start Again in hills of Bandla
2 min readBilaspur, Mar 29 – Paragliding can be enjoyed again at Bandladhar in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. The district administration has taken the approval of the forest department to start the site. At the same time, other formalities are being completed to start the flight from here. If the administration agrees, a notification will be issued to start the site within ten days. Let us tell that there are acro paragliding sites in the world in Turkey and Pokhara in Nepal. The altitude of the Pokhara site is lower than the Bandla site, while the Bandla acro paragliding site is comparable to the Turkey site. After registration, Bandla Paragliding site has been included in the three most beautiful sites in the world. In acro paragliding, paragliders perform various stunts with the paraglider in the sky.
After taking off from the site, the pilots perform various stunts over the lake. Acro is only in such places where there is water below. The landing of Bandla Paragliding Site is on the banks of Govind Sagar Lake. Due to the lake being there, this site is the best for acro. In January 2022, the site was notified by the tourism department for flights for a period of one year. Its term was completed in January and the department closed it for flights. This led to the closure of paragliding. Now to start it completely, the administration has taken its NOC from the Forest Department. Deputy Commissioner Bilaspur Abid Hussain Sadiq said that the site would be restored in eight to ten days
