Panchayat Head Felicitates Shimla DC for Supporting Plastic-Free Park Initiative

Shimla, 6 May 2025 – Tapendra Mohan Sharma, Pradhan of Paudiya Panchayat, paid a courtesy visit to Deputy Commissioner Shimla, Anupam Kashyap, and felicitated him with a memento. The DC appreciated the panchayat’s initiative of constructing a “Plastic Panchvati Park” and commended the residents for setting a unique example across the state. He encouraged other panchayats in the district to adopt similar models by collecting plastic waste to develop eco-friendly parks.
