Paddy Procurement at ₹2,389 MSP to Begin in Sirmaur from Oct 3

Nahan, Sept 10: District Food and Civil Supplies Controller Shamsher Singh informed that paddy procurement in Sirmaur district will start from October 3, 2025, at the government-fixed Minimum Support Price (MSP) of ₹2,389 per quintal (Grade-A).

Two procurement centers have been designated — Dhaula Kuan and Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Paonta Sahib. Farmers can register their crops on the portal https://hpappp.hp.gov.in, which has been open since September 8, 2025.

He urged farmers to avail benefits of government-provided facilities and sell their produce only at the designated centers to avoid any inconvenience.
