Over 12,000 Devotees Depart Chamba in Three Days, Free Transport Facility Provided

Chamba, August 31: Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal informed that in the past three days, more than 12,000 devotees of the Shri Manimahesh Yatra have departed from Chamba.
Free transport facility through HRTC buses is being provided for devotees traveling towards Nurpur, Pathankot, and Bhaderwah. Repaswal said that all pilgrims from Jammu & Kashmir, who were earlier staying at Chaugan, Chamba, have now left. An 11-member family from Ramban was also sent to Pathankot via HRTC bus.
He further added that while some pilgrims may still be staying with their acquaintances in Chamba, vehicles of devotees from J&K who had accompanied the Chhari Yatra or Langar services have already departed from the Police Ground Bargah.
To assist pilgrims returning on foot up to Bagga, the administration has ensured security, lodging, meals, and transport facilities. Officials have also been deployed at different points on the Bharmaur–Chamba National Highway to ensure smooth movement and safety of devotees.
