Opposition Accuses BJP Leader Jairam Thakur of Conspiracy and Power Hunger

The Chairman of the Seventh State Finance Commission, Nand Lal, along with the Deputy Chairman of the State Planning Commission, Bhavani Singh Pathania, has accused opposition leader Jairam Thakur of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of making constant statements while masquerading as the spokesperson for disgruntled Congress legislators.
They asserted that the BJP should clarify its relationship with the rebels in front of the people of Himachal Pradesh. They questioned why Jairam Thakur and other BJP leaders are defending the rebels, who is funding their stay in five-star hotels, who is providing legal advice to the rebels, who is ferrying them from one place to another in helicopters and chartered planes, and who is providing them security from CRPF and Haryana Police.
Both leaders emphasized that Jairam Thakur and other BJP leaders must provide answers to these questions to the people of Himachal Pradesh, as the public seeks accountability.
Nand Lal and Bhavani Singh Pathania further stated that Jairam Thakur is hungry for power and has conspired to topple the elected government. They accused the opposition of disrespecting the mandate of the people of Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh. They mentioned that despite being in power for five years, the BJP government has deceived the people of the state and continues to spread lies while being in opposition.
The history will remember the previous Jairam Thakur government as the U-turn government. They stated that the opposition needs introspection and must accept the defeat in the 2022 assembly elections.
Both leaders expressed full confidence in the Congress party’s commitment to constitutional institutions, while accusing BJP leaders of being intoxicated with power. They stated that Jairam Thakur knows well that the people of Himachal Pradesh do not appreciate opportunistic politics and that the BJP’s defeat is certain in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, which is why he is already looking for excuses for the defeat.
Congress will achieve significant victories in the upcoming Lok Sabha by-elections on six seats, providing a fitting response to the BJP. They assured that under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh, the current state government will fulfill all its electoral promises. They praised Thakur Sukhvinder Singh as a popular leader known for his honesty and transparency. They stated that the present government will complete its five-year term under his leadership, and all Congress legislators stand firmly by his side. They vowed to give a befitting reply to every conspiracy of the BJP.
